2. Subscriptions and Payments
- In-App Purchases: The App offers subscription-based features. Payments are processed through the Apple App Store (IAP).
- Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store Account Settings after purchase.
- Refunds: All billing and refunds are handled exclusively by Apple. We do not have the authority to issue refunds directly.
3. Usage Requirements
To function, the App requires your explicit permission to access Screen Time settings via Apple's FamilyControls framework. You are responsible for ensuring your device meets the technical requirements to run the App and maintain these permissions.
4. Intellectual Property

Yes, absolutely. We have no access to what you write. All affirmations are stored locally on your iPhone or iPad using on-device encrypted storage. We do not track which apps you block or how often you unlock them.
What if the app stops blocking?
If the blocking stops working, it is usually because the Screen Time permissions have lapsed. You can fix this by:
- Opening the Affirmation Lock app.
